Story & Craft Hour at Historic Cold Spring Village Welcome Center 10:30a-11:30a
This free interactive program includes music, stories, and crafts centered around Cape May County history!
April 5th – Who is the Woodworker? We will read stories about the importance of the woodworker! After story time and music, we will make a craft where we “carve wood” to make small shapes.
April 12th – Who is the potter? We will read stories about the potter and the clay he/she uses! After story time, children will get to make their own clay piece using air dry clay!
April 19th – Who is the Basket Weaver? We will read stories about weaving and baskets! After story time, each children will get to work on their own weaving craft!
April 26th – Who is the tinsmith? We will read stories about tinsmithing and metal work! After story time, each child will get to try their hand at a small “tinsmith” craft.
