Covid-19 has impacted our lives in so many ways and it seems it will continue until a vaccine is in place.
It is imperative that places like the Village survive and prosper to tell the stories of Cape May County’s history to our many residents and visitors.
Knowledge of the past is critical towards generating a better future for themselves and their families.
This year’s “Giving Campaign” is about survival!
We need your help and your donations more than ever!
Please consider a monetary gift, if not for 2020, then possibly 2021 or a future date.
For donations of $100 or more, you will receive the Village’s 2021 second Limited Edition Holiday ornament, the Heislerville House (Tin Shop).
Our Administrative Staff is to be commended for their unwavering commitment and diligence towards making the 2020 summer season successful.
Recognizing that we were unable to hire part-time seasonal employees and additionally, that there would be limited work hours coupled with a reduction in pay, the staff prevailed and assumed the roles of building interpreters from Thursday through Sunday.
Each one also continued with their office responsibilities the days the Village was closed to the public.
We followed all the CDC guidelines, in addition to the Governor’s Executive Orders, to create a COVID-19 safe environment while adhering to our mission of historic preservation, history education, and heritage tourism.
Please consider our request. Thank you.
With our blessings for a Happy Holiday Season
and a
future COVID-free 2021!
