The goal is to focus on life, art, music, crafts, and foods that make us all Americans.

    Cruise into Historic Cold Spring Village for the Annual Classic and Antique Car Show! Cars will be on display Saturday from 10am-3pm and Sunday 10am-2:45p.  See beautifully restored and preserved vehicles, from muscle cars to light trucks, from the 1910s to the 1980s parked along the Village’s tree-lined, shell-paved lanes. Talk with the owners and learn about the process of restoring a classic automobile as well as the fascinating stories behind their development and use.  Registration for car owners begins at 8am.
    The Village’s historic buildings will be open during regular museum hours, 10am-4:30pm, with historically clothed interpreters teaching guests about the crafts, trades and lifestyles of Early America.

    Experience life on an Early American farm through hands-on activities and exhibits at Historic Cold Spring Village’s ‘Down on the Farm’ Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, August 10-11 from 10am-4:30pm. Historic Cold Spring Village, an open-air living history museum, presents the trades, crafts, architecture, and lifestyles of an Early American, rural South Jersey farming community. The Village is also home to a working 8-acre heritage farm complex.
    Special exhibits throughout the Village will include collections of antique and modern farming equipment and tools. Visitors can tour the historic Corson-Gandy Barn, c. 1880, which is now home to Levi the Village horse. Guests can visit the Village sheep, pigs, chickens and calves. The Family Activity Area will feature games and take-home crafts. Children may also participate in farm chores at the Corson-Gandy Barn throughout the day.

    8th Annual Dog Show on Saturday, August 10!
    Registration $7.00 at 10-10:45a at the Route 9 & 626 entrances.
    Judging begins at 11:30am at Village Gazebo.
    Dogs must be leashed.
    Owners are responsible for dog behavior & clean up.
    One handler is admitted free of charge.
    Look for a $1.00 off coupon at the gates for additional guests.

    Ahoy there maties! Seafarers' Weekend is certainly shipping up to be a fantastic time for everyone! New this season we have Main Deck Productions! An entertainment group that specializes in swashbuckling, high adventure, and a cannon load of fun! Also new to the Village ranks, Kaptain Kristian and Red will be present to tickle your funny bone. Learn about life at sea or join a treasure hunt! The Valhalla Pirates will be back as well as Bayman Dan with his net making skills. Don't forget about the Sailors Swill Station featuring some tasty brews to help steady your sea legs. The Sea Dogs Maritime Band, an authentic maritime reenactment crew, will perform sea shanties on both Saturday and Sunday at the Village Gazebo. Children should be on the lookout for gold coins hidden throughout the Village that can be redeemed for a free treat near the Country Store!

    Two days of family-friendly, interactive and educational fun are planned for Historic Cold Spring Village’s “Hands-on History” Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, June 29th-30th, from 10am to 4:30pm. Children will be given a “Pastport” at the start of their Village trip, which can be stamped at the buildings they visit after completing a take-home craft or activity, like writing with a quill pen, carding wool or churning butter. Pastports can be redeemed at the Country Store for a free treat! Other family-friendly activities include games and live entertainment from traditional musician Mary Roth and Penns Woods Puppet Theater. This jam-packed family-fun weekend event is sponsored by PNC Bank.

    Authentically clad and equipped reenactors bring the American Revolution to life!
    This event will feature encampments, weaponry and demonstrations from living history groups, including Continentals, Loyalists and Hessians.

    Visitors can tour Union and Confederate camps and meet authentically clad and equipped military and civilian reenactors who will discuss the everyday lives of Civil War soldiers and the roles civilians played in supporting them.
    Battle scheduled for 2pm Saturday & Sunday. Visitors will be unable to enter the Village grounds at 1:45pm. It is strongly encouraged that visitors arrive before 1:30pm. The Village buildings will be closed during the battle and will reopen afterward.

    The evening starts with a delicious casual fare in a private dining room at the Cold Spring Grange Restaurant.  The entertainment for the evening is Craig McManus and the spirits he channels. Craig has been working as a medium since the 1990s, channeling for clients around the world. His lifelong fascination with ghosts has also lead him to a career as a prolific author about ghosts and haunting.
    After the meal, Craig will tell you when he senses a loved one. He will relay information from that person and act as an intermediary in the conversation between you and your loved ones.  Craig does not control who comes through in a session.  Due to time constraints, not everyone will receive a reading.

    The Village paths come alive with the sounds and smells of wintertime at this free family event. Select buildings will be open where guests can enjoy hands-on crafts, live music, hot beverages and holiday treats served by historical clothed interpreters. Visitors can meet Father Christmas at the Country Store.
    The Country Store will be open and stocked with unique holiday gift ideas including traditionally-processed wool, artisan crafts for the home, books, jewelry, toys and old-fashioned candy.
